The 2009 Okie Blogs Awards!

Dishin and Dishes is truly a website to support Oklahoma.  I love to give kudos to anything to do with our state!

The annual 2009 Blogger Awards are currently taking nominations.   Nominations open December 30 and close on February 3, 2010.  Send nominations to:

Please note:

Only Okie bloggers with active Okie blogs (not merely Twitter accounts) are eligible to nominate and vote. “Active” is defined as having at least one blog post during the last 60 days of 2009. An “Okie blog” is defined as having at least one blog author residing within the state of Oklahoma.

The top 10 nominees per category will be announced on the Okie Blog Awards site no later than February 5, 2010.  Bloggers will VOTE for their favorite bloggers among the 10 nominees in each category between February 5-12, 2010.

The final vote count will be forwarded to a panel of judges for consideration, review and final selection of winners.  Names of panelists will be announced February 13.

The panel includes experts in law, publishing, government, planning, writing, public relations, computer programming, advertising, small business, visual arts and more.  The decision of the panel is final.  Winners will be announced no later than February 19.
