Spring Fever and an April (Wedding) Shower

Here in Oklahoma, we never know what to expect with our weather.  For example, Mid-March we get a straight week of high 70’s and sunshine, and now that it’s April, one day we get 80 and sunny afternoons and cold thunderstorms by nightfall.  What’s up with that?  A bad case of spring fever is on hand here! Looking out my window, I see things like this.

And then I look up and see gray clouds and trees blowing in the 20 m.p.h. winds, and I slink back inside in my pajama pants and hibernate again. Yesterday afternoon it was almost 80 degrees.  Mr. Wonderful was out enjoying the glorious weather while I as at Lindsay’s wedding shower.  Even though I missed out on sunshine, it was fun! Lindsay is engaged to Jason, our…let’s see, 2nd oldest out of six?  They got a LOT of great stuff that made me  want to have a shower again!     I don’t think that’s allowed, but it was nice to think about.

And Lindsay and all her “Mom’s”.  Her real one – Esther is the one that looks just like her!  Esther is a wonderful person who raised a lovely daughter.  I mean Lindsay is good as gold.  Jason is lucky and we remind him of that often.
