Red Gold Giveaway!

It’s that time again! Ever since I first tried Red Gold tomatoes a few years back, I always love to buy their tomatoes now in our stores. So HEY! Good news!

The good people from Red Gold Tomatoes are sponsoring another giveaway here on my site! I always love to do giveaways for Red Gold and my readers love them too!

The package is a bit different this year and the theme is “grilling for summer!”

Including in this package are five varieties of canned Red Gold 100% natural tomatoes including ones mixed with green chilies, lime juice and cilantro (imagine salsa with these!), and basil, garlic and oregano.

They come packed in this cute six pack carrier.

Accompanying the tomatoes is this super cute apron too!

I love to use Red Gold tomatoes in dish that I use round steak in. I guess you could say I like to use the Red Gold brand in all of my recipes that call for tomatoes. I love this brand of tomatoes and use them all the time.

I'm so happy to be back in Oklahoma where I can purchase Red Gold tomatoes! I love to use them in my homemade chili! Yum! : )

My fave recipe for canned tomatoes is definitely slow-cooker queso. With cooked sausage, etc. YUM.

We use canned tomatoes when prepping a "gravy" recipe the lil bride found in a Novel about Mob Life. The author was a Mob Boss's wife and she cooked all sorts of Italian dishes and her "gravy" was a base for many of the recipes. The gravy takes nearly all day on simmer to prep but it is such an awesome sauce for spaghetti, lasagna, pizza, and chips/salsa. #DeeLISH

It's almost football season!! I use tomatoes in my chile, which doubles as hot dog chile, burger chile, and what ever else we think to put it on! YUM!

I have a long ago clipped newspaper article with recipes for the salsa at Chimi's (used to be my favorite Mexican restaurant evah!) The recipe for the fresh salsa makes a ton and uses canned diced tomatoes. I haven't made that in a while. hmm.

I've never used Red Gold before but would love to try them! I use canned tomatoes in a Black Bean soup with ham, a bit of brown sugar and cocoa, cumin and oregano, balsamic vinegar and in the winter, a splash of scotch or sherry.

I use Red Gold tomato products because they have more real tomato flavor than another can tomato product I had used in the past. I especially like to use it in my sweet and sour meatloaf recipe.

I use canned tomatoes when making Bucattini Al'Americana. This is my favorite recipe to entertain family and friends. I have never used Red Gold before, but I will now. I love trying new things!
