My Mickey Mantle Segment on Rise and Shine

Today’s Rise and Shine segment featured Mickey Mantle’s Steakhouse – It was so fun to meet Chef Daniel Nemek and watch him make one of their new featured dishes – Herb Crusted Pork Shanks With Fig Sauce.

I have no idea if that’s what the dish is called, but that’s what it was and doesn’t that just sound good?

There was a little difficulty on me getting there this morning due to the fact that I had some kind of tummy flu or just an upset tummy and I was sick on the way to the station..but the show must go on right? (I’m feeling much better now).

I didn’t even get to to a taste of the dish due to the tummy thing, so I’m hoping David and Lance enjoyed it after I left.   I hope you enjoy this little video and if you have a chance to visit Mickey Mantle’s Steakhouse, you should definately get the crabcakes.

Come to think of it, you should get everything we ate.  It was all wonderfully delicious.
