How to Sift Quickly

Please don’t misunderstand me.  If you’re a professional baker, don’t leave me a nasty comment.  I know this isn’t the best way..it’s just reality sometimes when life is rushed!

This is just something I do if I’m in a big hurry and need to bake …quick!


Instead of sifting my powdered sugar, or flour, etc., I toss it into my Kitchenaid bowl and using my whisk attachment, i turn it on as high as it will let me without dusting me with whiteness. 

It generally takes the lumps out of even powdered sugar and produces a creamy result. 

 Try it sometime!
