Baked Brie with Hot Honey, Cranberries and Pistachios

It’s no secret that our family LOVES hot honey on anything, so this Baked Brie with Hot Honey, Cranberries and Pistachios is a perfect recipe for us to serve this Christmas! And it’s pretty darn beautiful as well as the reds and greens fit right in with Christmas colors!

When Mr. Wonderful built the pizza oven, we started using hot honey on our homemade pizzas. I even make our own as it’s so easy (recipe found by clicking here)!

It’s not just for pizza though, although its AMAZING on pizza! We even drizzle it over sweet potato bites as an appetizer.

Recently it hit me that although honey or brown sugared sauces are commonly served over brie for a Christmas Appetizer, it would be really good to use hot honey instead.

Forgive me, but when I hit 45, I want a little spice in everything!

Add in some tangy dried cranberries and salty pistachios and orange zest and you pretty much have the perfect flavor profile that hits maximum taste bud potential! Orange and cranberries are such a great pairing and it just works incredibly well over brie.

I did a test run and five us devoured the entire brie wheel in about 5 minutes. I’ve even simplified the hot honey recipe for this recipe, using pepper flakes and it worked splendidly!

I think it passed the test!

Try serving this up on your charcuterie board this Christmas and see if you agree!
