Baby Gender Reveal!

Friday we got to witness something special.

Our son Chris and his lovely wife Laura are expecting their first child.  Prior to this day, they had visited their baby doctor and had an ultrasound to determine the gender of the baby.  The doctor sealed the information in an envelope, and Chris and Laura delivered it to a local baker.  No one knew but the baker – not even the new babies Mama and Daddy.  We all found out together, and aside from the new Mama almost whacking the new Daddy with the cake knife in her excitement, it was so fun!  Well, even that is funny…now!

The baker was given instructions to bake a cake based on the baby’s gender – Lemon filling for boy  -pink filling for a girl.  Below you can watch the excitement and fun we got to witness.  Please pay not attention to that lady (that would be me) who steps into the pictures to snap photos.  Apparently, she forgot to put in her memory card in the excitement and failed to get photos.  However, the video is way more exciting to watch!
