This is a momma’s proudest moment. See that girl in the plaid jacket and cute hat? That’s Kayla at an autograph signing at their music table for her band – 412. They have an album that our church produced which is a youth worship CD and it’s amazing for a group of high school students! It has been snapped up and is being distributed nationally, maybe internationally. If you’d like to listen to them, here is a link to their Myspace music page.
Their name is based on 1 Timothy 4:12 “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.” I thought after hearing them rock the house tonite at a national youth convention in front of some 6000 teens, that this verse is pretty applicable to these young God loving kids! God definately was present today in the songs they created for Him and performed in front of a jumping, spirit filled young generation!
