Two Days in Tulsa and Two TV segments

Author Katie Johnstonbaugh guests on Fox 23 Tulsa to promote the Food Lovers' Guide to Oklahoma

I spent Monday and Tuesday in Tulsa on two TV segments on two morning news casts.

Monday morning I was on Fox 23 Daybreak show. (See video below).

I also spent some time with my daughter Kayla who goes to school in Tulsa.  We ate sushi and drank chai tea lattes.  We slept in some incredibly cushy and comfortable hotel beds with ultra fluffy feather pillows.

It was very dark in the Cork where we ate, so my iPad didn’t really do justice!

Jen also writes for the RHOK but also writes the blog 6 Happy Hearts …and Jen kept my sides in stitches ALL NIGHT LONG!

They made me laugh like I haven’t in a LONG time…good old fashioned girlfriend laughing. I enjoyed my evening Monday with these ladies. It was a blast.

Dawn is sweet, hilarious and has to be a long lost sister….I just wish she lived closer to me!

Dawn also writes for the RHOK  and her own blog Dawn’s Diversions.

Now, I must go get to sleep, for tomorrow’s segment in which we’ll be making a Valentine treat.  Then I’m going to put on my pajama pants, a sweat shirt and turn into a vegetable for a few days.

    OMG! I’m laughing because I came over to get the name of the TV station you are on in the city because I’m writing about YOU only to find you wrote about ME! LOL!

    I’m so glad we got to spend some time together while you were in Tulsa. Looking forward to our next get together.
