Superbowl Food Ideas
What are you doing for the Superbowl? Having a dozen testosterone-filled men over? We’re hosting a youth gathering for our church for 30, 40, maybe 50 (or more) teenagers at my house. You just never know how many teens will turn up when the word “free food” is mentioned…
Let us all please take a moment of silence to pray for my house.
And my carpet to go stain-free.
Thank you.
Need ideas for Superbowl food? Here are some of my favorite recipes. Click on any picture below to find the recipe and instructions.
For appetizers/snacky foods, try my Unforgettable Salsa.
Or serve up these Spicy Southwest Pretzels. You won’t stop at one bite.
Try this fuss-free Guacamole that you make in a freezer bag, cut the corner off, squeeze into a bowl, and then toss the bag for easy clean-up!
For a different kind of dip, that strays far away from a cheese ball, try my Pesto Rosso.
This is always a huge hit. My Black Bean Salsa.
Want something a little fancier? Try these Shrimp-Stuffed Portabellos.
Every man wants meat and they’ll be jumping for joy with my Easiest Brisket Ever.
I’m making this the same way but using a pork shoulder this time.
Serve it up with your choice of potato – either my Roasted Rosemary Potato Salad…
Or else try these Savory Sweet Potato Wedges.
And if you keep your grill out all year like we do, try this Grilled Corn With Cilantro-Lime Butter.
This is a hearty soup you can serve all by itself or in addition to the Brisket…my Spicy Southwest Soup.
For sweet snacking, try my Molten Lava Cakes.
Or, for an easy bar dessert, whip up some Triple Cinnamon Snickerdoodle Bars.
I am going to have to make some more of these Cookies N Creme Cheesecake Cupcakes.
Because someone leaked it to our Youth Pastor about them and now he’s requesting them.
Whatever you decide to cook, remember this.
Don’t forget to watch the commercials…
