It’s been almost a week since Thanksgiving and I’m still recovering…here are a few scenes from our special day.
Mr. Wonderful making his famous cinnamon rolls…we have them every Thanksgiving morning.
He almost pooped out this year, but I guilted him and he got at it.
He cut them to where he had one sad little leftover roll that he popped into a ramekin. I told him he was brilliant…this would be super cute to give each person at a brunch or breakfast.
The kids all made a dish…our “adopted” child Brettley made Brussels Sprouts with Bacon and Pine Nuts.
Brettley’s brother Caleb is going to school in Tulsa and he was with us too!
Caleb and Conner are the same age. They made nothing but were happy to help taste test.
Those turkeys got dish duty later. And speaking of turkeys…here is ours!
Kayla made Poblano Spoonbread.
And Tori made Green Bean Casseroled, one of her favs.
Ava came over and got a Candy Corn Popcorn Ball all to herself!
Ava’s Momma Lyndsay brought one of my favorite things of all time. Her Stir Fried Rice.
It was an absolutely deliciously wonderful day!
I’m still recovering.
Bubba got kicked out of the kitchen along with the other dogs, and stared longingly into the kitchen for 3 straight hours.
Bubba has his “I’m so pitiful” look perfected to a T!
Don’t feel too bad for him, all the dogs got to clean up later!
