Pictures of My “Baby”

On May 18th my “baby” will graduate high school.

I use the term “baby” because that’s what I still think sometimes, especially when I look at pictures like this.

That’s him with the blonde ringlet curls with my parents, his big sisters and his cousin Alex when he was about 2.  I never wanted to cut off those precious ringlets.

And then people started asking me how old my little girl was, and I had to.

Anyway, we had his pictures taken recently. (By Randy Coleman Photography who is the BOMB!)

And I am amazed at what a fine young man my “baby” has become.

Where did the time go?

Oh wait, I think it went to approximately 3,337 baseball, basketball and football games.

Or maybe it went to 2,342 trips to run him to Josh’s, Sean’s, Logan’s or TJ’s house.

But you know what? I loved every single minute of it…good and bad…he’ll always be my baby.

And he’s about to spread his wings and fly right off to college this fall.

And while this makes me a a little sad…

It also makes me very proud..

Sniff.

And I’m going to keep this in my memory forever.

    I loved those ringlets and was obsessed with my baby brother. I thought I was his mommy. Still love him so much
