Here are some great ideas if you’re having a Memorial Day get together or even heading over to someone’s house and need to take a dish along!
Grill Basket Stuffed Sliders! Stuffed with bacon and cheddar and grilled all-at-once and cut into sliders, these are a perfect cook-out food!
This Spicy Corn Dip is simple, delicious and a bit hit at parties! My friend Joy is to blame for me being addicted to this!
These cute little Prosciutto Cups are a fresh and adorable mouth popping appetizer to set out as well!
Grilling up some burgers? My family adores these All American Burgers filled with garlic, chopped bacon and a surprise cheese inside and topped with grilled onions and BBQ sauce.
But we also love this healthier version, my Garden Turkey Burgers, filled with chopped poblanos, red onions, carrots and topped with sprouts and avocado.
Grilling Chicken or Fish or even Seafood? Try this Tropical Salsa to top it with!
Grill some sweet corn and top it with Cilantro Lime Butter for a fabulous side dish!
Or grill some tasty Iron Skillet Potatoes
Need to make a salad? Try this one…and easy Tomato Cucumber Salad, filled with chopped fresh herbs and a light vinegar dressing.
If you’re grilling some steaks, make one or two of these steak toppers. Brown Sugared Balsamic Mushrooms or Bleu Cheese Butter!
And, for dessert? You could make Peanut Butter Pie.
Or even an Ice Box Lemon Pie.
Whatever you do this Memorial Day, remember to stop and say a little thank you to yourself by remembering those who have died to give us freedom in our country (or yours!). It’s a time to hold our loved ones close, eat good food and be greatful for the sacrifice made to let us be free to live!
