Fourth of July Food Ideas

July 2, 2010Katie

What are you doing for the Fourth of July?

Staying home and hosting a barbeque?

Going to the lake?

Working?  Hopefully NOT!

Here are some ideas for you to cook-up on this holiday that just screams COOK-OUT!  Simply click on any of the pictures below to go the blog post about that recipe.

First off and you MUST try this….

My All American Burger made with chopped bacon pieces right in the patty and also a secret surprise of smoked cheddar cheese that oozes out when you take a bite.

For a side dish, try some of my Roasted Rosemary Potato Salad.

And grill up some fresh sweet corn and top it with some Cilantro Lime Butter.

Here in the southwest, we love our chips and salsa. Try making my super easy 5-Minute Unforgettable Salsa.

Wash all of this down with my Summertime Basil Lemonade.

And the perfect ending to all of this would be this Chocolate Raspberry Tart.

However, whatever you do this weekend, find someone you care about whether it be some close friends and/or family and enjoy good food together in love.

It’s what holidays are all about.

Looks good. Think I'll just cook another pizza with the cardboard on the bottom! No, I may try one of them, but I don't think I'm adventurous enough to try them all this weekend. Happy 4th!!!

Hey that basil lemonade looks amazing. If you need help with using the basil give me a call. I miss having pesto.

Can I just come to your house for dinner? It would be quicker and easier than shopping, prepping, and cooking all that! :)
