Exciting News – I’m Being Published!

You may have noticed recently, I haven’t been posting quite as much as I used to.

There is a reason for that..and I honestly will be better about getting back on track now that the craziness has died down somewhat in my life and I am getting used to…

Writing a book.

Yes, you heard me right. A BOOK!

I am going to be a published author and I feel very blessed!

I was contacted recently by Globe Pequot Publishing (Morris Publishing) to write a book for the state of Oklahoma called Food Lover’s Guide to Oklahoma, and I am excited to tell you I am having an absolute BALL doing it!

Basically, the book will be a guide to great foodie favorite places to dine, landmark type restaurants and also specialty markets here in Oklahoma. This could range from Farmer’s Markets to food trucks to gourmet grocery stores.

This is right up my alley!

A large percentage of the places will be here in Oklahoma City, where I live. A smaller percentage will be in Tulsa, and I will also be sharing those landmark places around the state that are must visits.

Here is an example of a book from another state.

Only it will say Oklahoma and in the bottom right hand corner will be my name.  I wonder if they’ve considered how long my name is?

Mr. Wonderful and I will be traveling around trying out all kinds of places in the next few months! If you live here and have a recommendation, I’d love to hear about it! Please leave me a comment below!

    We loooooooove Thai Kitchen Downtown. We love that year round they have Christmas and Halloween decorations! The owners know us by name and visa versa. The BEST Thai anywhere! I dream of their coconut curry and pad Thai!
