Dogs Everywhere

We have a few new adopted family members.

Kayla’s best friend and our 7th adopted child Brettley is living with us for a bit. She moved here from Iowa after graduating to take a job in Oklahoma City.

She brought someone with her. Actually two someones.

This is Chloe.

Chloe is a sweetheart. She’s kind of scared of her own shadow, but she is sooooo sweet and so we are babying her trying to get her used to her new digs.

We are also closing doors very slowly and softly because Chloe likes to bark when she hears doors opening. Remember Linus from The Peanuts carrying around his blanket for security?

Chloe’s security is her “baby”. And she likes to drag it around with her and sleep with it too.

And this is Bubba.

Bubba and I have bonded. Bubba is an attention hound. I love Bubba.

Bubba looks a lot like our Max. I keep getting them confused.

The difference between Bubba and Max is that Bubba can jump up on things and Max can’t. Bubba and Max are getting to know each other slowly as dogs do.

There’s a lot of butt sniffing going on around here.

And there are dogs everywhere.

Someone buy me a bigger pooper scooper!
