See  those insane kids above?

I love them.  Absolutely love them.

They invade my home every week.  We cook for them.  We clean up after them.  And they give us back so much in return.  They are amazing!

It is our passion and we love it…join me for some insight on what we’ve learned from these incredible kids.  I speak from my heart, as a parent and someone who spends a lot of time working with teenagers.

Please leave them comments! Visit our wIrEd SaGes page to hear what God has put in their hearts to share. These are devotional thoughts straight from the mouth of teenagers!. Please click on the link below.

I found your site through Tasty Kitchen. And I zeroed in on what you do with your teens. Good for you and Mr. Wonderful. I think now more than ever teens need a solid foundation, positive influences, good friends, and lots of good laughs!

We run a high adventure sailing program for youth groups aboard our sailing ship. The groups come aboard our ship for 6 days. This is a participating charter where each crew member, works together with their shipmates as a team. It is a week of many amazing learning experiences and a lot of fun! Our hope is that each person will walk away from this adventure with more self confidence, a broader view of life, a greater sense of pride, and incredible memories that will be cherish for a lifetime!

Running our own youth groups high adventure on our sailboat is now an 8 year journey for us. This summer we will have a 22 year old young man that will apprentice with us as our First Mate. He was on our ship 4 years ago with his Boy Scout troop. He wants to get his Captain’s license. One of our other past Scouts just got accepted into the Coast Guard Academy. And there are many more stories like these that make us feel like we (my husband – the Captain – and I- the “Admiral”) do make a difference.

Anyway, a personal thank you to you and your husband for giving the time, attention, love – oh and don’t forget the FOOD – to those teens!

Check out our website we have a lot of great pictures. We are in the process now of giving the site a new fresh look. We’re calling it the “face lift” which should be up and running in a week or so.

    All the best,
    Linda & Thomas
