Last night Mr. Wonderful and I ate dinner at home and then ventured out to T, an Urban Teahouse. My intrigue with T asked the question, “how did I NOT know about this place?”!!

Candy Cane Peppermint Fudge

This is a sort of peppermint bark, sort of peppermint fudge cross of a recipe. I have long loved the white chocolate peppermint bark at Christmas time so it’s just a given that I love this as well. It’s pretty popular at Christmas gatherings and you probably won’t get any leftovers to take home so beware! Put some aside for yourself before taking it to a party!

Dear Santa, Home Depot and Maytag

** Oven Update! Yesterday a customer service rep called Mr. Wonderful and guess what? Apparently, the entire time there were FOUR of our ovens in a warehouse in Dallas that no one else has been able to locate. He also was kind enough to send over a “loaner oven” for us to use in the meantime. It is a small double oven but HEY, it’s an oven! Yay! He also expedited our delivery to December 15th instead of 19th. We are truly appreciate of this guy who went above and beyond what anyone had been able to do…please give him a promotion!
