Today on my rise & Shine Dishin and Dishes segment, we’ll be making burgers for your July 4th cookout two ways.
Evil – The All-American Burger
With chopped cooked bacon mixed right in with the ground beef and stuffed full of a gooey, smokey cheese, this burger is truly evil. And have I mentioned it’s topped with carmelized onions and BBQ sauce?
Evil I tell you.
If you’re feeling devilish this July 4th, make this burger. Click here to go to the blog post.

The second burger is good, it’s very, very good.
It doesn’t leave you with guilt and more importantly it still tastes good!
It’s my Garden Turkey Burger.
This burger is made with turkey meat, a variety of chopped, flavorful veggies and moistened up a bit with egg whites and held together with whole oats. It sits on a thin bun without many carbs…but you will NOT miss out on flavor on this burger..it’s so good.
