At Least I Had This

August 8, 2010Katie

Mr. Wonderful got home tonight about 6 p.m. and kidnapped me off the couch where I was still recovering from the flu.

I was so tired of being on the couch…but too tired to get off of it. But hey, I figured, our reclining seats in our boat are kind of couch-like so I grabbed my camera bag and went with him.

I love our little city lake. Even if you don’t get out of town for the weekend, it makes you feel like you have. Mr. Wonderful started driving around and we people watched.

There were sailors.

There were kite surfers.

And there were just plain strollers, enjoying the scenery.

And then, just before we came in, we saw this.

And I was glad we got out of the house.

The weekend wasn’t a total loss from the flu.

Thanks for coming out. It was such a beautiful evening. Seeing things from a different perspective [on the water] always makes me feel ‘better’. I think it worked for you too!! Mr. W
