Every year I love to partner with Produce for Kids to promote some fabulous produce and a cute recipe for kiddos! This campaign is hosted by Homeland and benefits Feeding America and The Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma! It’s always fun to help moms and dads trying to find new and exciting recipes that also bring healthy options to their children’s plates.
Produce for Kids® believes in creating a healthier generation through cause marketing campaigns that provide easy, fun and inspiring recipes. Produce for Kids has been helping families and children by giving back since 2002. Through produce and grocery retail partner programs, Produce for Kids has donated more than $6 million to charities that benefit children and families nationwide.
Oklahoma shoppers can also do their part by looking for the Produce for Kids logo in the produce department of all Homeland stores. Supporting the brands with the Produce for Kids logo will help give back to The Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma’s programs that support children and families. Check out more about The Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma and their partnership with Produce for Kids by clicking here.
Now how much easier can it be for you to help out?!
I’ll help you even further by listing the sponsored products for Oklahoma!
*Avocados from Mexico
*Delano Farms Company
*Weonly Victory Garden
*Shuman Produce Real Sweet Vidalia Onions
*Green Giant Fresh
I love this recipe that Produce for Kids provided on their website here. It comes just in time for a tasty treat to give your kids that they will love for the 4th of July!
And let me tell you…it;s not just for kids. I made one of these up last night for a late-evening healthy snack, and the combination is delicious! I also think you could add a large bread stick for a flag pole to make it even cuter!
Hope you all have a Happy Independence Day!
