Chocolates and A Pioneer Woman!
Today I FINALLY got out of the house and the snow and ice and ventured out to Norman to the Chocolate Festival 2011 held by the Norman Firehouse Art Center.
There was chocolate.
Over thirty vendors who held everything from chocolate chili to cupcakes to chocolate enchiladas.
My partner in chocolate crime held cake boxes that we packed away chocolates in.
I couldn’t take a good picture today for the life of me.
Then I ventured onward to Full Circle Bookstore at Fifty Penn Place to meet this wonderful gal. The Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond.
Thanks to Sheri and Viv for bringing me a Bleu Cheese Burger from S&B Burgers cuz up until that point, I’d had nothing but chocolate and coffee.
And it was 2:30 P.M.
Don’t worry, I traded them out after the book signing for shopping in my trunk for my chocolate haul.
Oh yes, I also met Ree’s Marlboro Man..and he looks just like the cowboy he is on her site.
And now folks, I am home…making Iron Skillet Chicken Pot Pie and cuddling with my Mr. Wonderful. It was good to escape the house after a week of snow and ice. But I’m glad to be home with him.
It’s been a fabulous day.
