Living in Oklahoma has changed my tastebuds a bit, so to speak.

The flavors in the southwest are full of spice and wonder.  The other day while at my friend Melisa’s (pronounced Ma lee sa) place, she served these amazing spicy/savory pretzels and I am now addicted.

I seem to be using that word a lot lately in regard to food – addicted.

Back to the pretzels…

Seriously, once you start popping these things into your mouth, you can’t stop.

Mix together a few ingredients in a bag or bowl and dump in a whole bag of pretzels. Let it set a couple of hours or overnight.  Can it be easier?

Leave me a comment…it makes me smile!

    Hi Katie,

Love your appearances on Rise and Shine and your blog. How do the pretzels keep? I wanted to make them early for Super Bowl Sunday – same question about the potato salad – how far in advance can I roast the potatoes and mix the salad?

    Thanks!!

Susan -thank you and I’m glad you’re enjoying the show!

The pretzels keep wonderfully in a tightly sealed bowl or gallon size baggie.

I don’t know if the potato skins would get soggy if you made them ahead of time…I’ve never tried? It would probably work but might not have the same effect..
